NIT-C’s Finishing School Course begins on May 9
Kozhimode: National Institute of Technology, Calicut, (NIT-C) will conduct its finishing school programme from May 9 to July 9 on the NIT-C campus.
A NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies) report said that only a few out of the large number of available engineering graduates in the country were employable.
Directive:
The finishing school programmes were being conducted as per the directives of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) in NITs at Kozhikode, Durgapur, Kureshetra, Jaipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirapalli and Warangal and at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, during May to June on a pilot basis to train these graduates.
